check-in

spring training is officially over. it was a productive offseason filled with improvements. now i have 6 or so weeks to fine tune my craft and be ready for the start of training camp in late july. right before leaving the facility on the last day of veteran mini-camp i negotiated a new report weight, 215 lbs, but with a stipulation. I must be 4.5 percent body fat. I can do it but it will be a challenge, making this summer a focused and fun one to look forward too.

too keep from losing my balance i plan on sprinkling in a few mini vacations, the first one being a short trip to costa rica coming up soon. any other vacations will be weekend trips within the states. these next 6 weeks are crucial to my training camp success.

aside from football, i have been steadily embracing my creative side through photography. it has become one of the other activities that consistently puts me in a flow state. its incredible. im going to start posting my photography on here as periodically as possible. i encourage anyone that may read this to find an outlet outside of work that can help you reach your flow. that feeling is unmatched.

  1. Your drive to achieve excellence is matched by your clear understanding that “balance” is integral to optimizing your true value and positive impact both personally and professionally! You “get it” and for that your efforts will be acknowledged and rewarded. Go Be Great! Dad
